WTB Land Rover parts

Post by Mongoose »

As mentioned in my minimal build thread looking for:
For an S3
Soft top frame, pref with canvas, ideally with a windscreen frame with the roof fittings unless this is something I can mod my existing frame to take. If anyone has a soft top S2 or 3 I'd love to see what's done with the seatbelts as these mount to the pillar on the roof currently.

If anyone has any wheels that will fit with about 2 inches, so I guess about 50mm, more offset than stock I'd be keen. Looking to push the track a bit wider, also the 235/80/16s I have fitted are rubbing a bit on full lock against the inner guard and chassis.

I'm in Christchurch/Rolleston area.

Thanks :)

You only need the top rail for the soft top, not the whole windscreen. The rail bolts to the top of your screen same way the existing roof does.

Exmoor Trim in UK do complete stick sets and new canvas hoods.

Sweet! That's a much easier solution for the windscreen. I'll check out pricing on that british supplier, might be an option if I can't get something 2nd hand. thanks mate!

Keep an eye on trade me, there have been a couple sold recently, including full frame set with near new Exmoor trim canvas only last week. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =469654703
