Prado 70s Brake Pad Upgrade

Has anyone fitted 100s disc pads into a 70s Prado?
Just been fitting to 1993 80s Cruiser , the latter 80s Disc's and calipers, then fitted 100s pads.
Looking at the size of the pad, with a little grinding they look as they would fit into a Prado caliper..
