a event over two days on challenging tracks around Westport.

team entry is required to be received by Sun 18th March
Entry fee: $600 per team
limited to 15 teams
Entry fee includes meals for 6 Sat & Sun night.

Same people, run every two years. Was told the last one was the last....but hey there is a god after all. Pity it's so early in the year, would have made plans to come back and winch bitch for someone. It aint no walk in the park jerry, we had rain all weekend and snow. Hard on competitors and trucks. I remember us all pissing on the winches to cool them at one stage. Some teams spent all night repairing trucks to compete the next day. Some teams pulled out, we did halfway through the second day. Some of our team members had reached their limits in terms of physical endurance! But shiiit, I'd do it all again in an instant, especially around westport, it will be considerably harder then reefton.

im heading over for the weekend, can't enter as no wof or reg on a trailer queen, not a navi but gonna crash at Nuts place and may bring the queen as a rescue veh

trying doing it after 12 trucks have gone down off the swamp , be last truck down ,turn around then drive back UP !

No I don't do competition anymore after a couple of bad experiences years ago.

Steve and Mark Crackett asked me to join them in their team. But I said no. At 65 I'm past rushing and tearing that winch challenges require and would rather have a quiet gin or 2

we have young pat pretty on our team (our secret weapon)
we will not be rushing and tearing but good team work and smart driving
and a lot of fun

would like to say it is not a full on winch challenge
(its not only you Richard that call it a winch challenge)
good club spec trucks with good team work are fine for the even
