Hi, Im looking at running a trip into the Old Whanga road doing the loop and the next day Te Wiri Forest. Would anyone be interested?

Diggers are called diggers coz they dig - they would be called fillers if they were for filling

But - hey - you boys and girls done good - I hate to think what that road would be like in the wet.
We hope to do the 42nd Traverse 2nd Jan and then Whanga again 3rd Jan

Not sure about the "bent" - have you been looking through my windows

But, haven't really thought about advertising for numbers yet - only just talking to MUDDE1 at this stage - will have more discussion tonight at the Manukau4wd National Rally Committee meeting with Bernie etc about expanding into full on Club trip

im really keen to get into this trip , however i am very novice and have a more or less stock 90' safari LWB lots of recovery gear which im expecting will be used no winch tho , how tough is this trip?

Last time I went though you could almost do it in 2 wheel drive...
Where's this "whanga" track? One I haven't done.
