welcome aboard ... what sort of truck do you have and what sort of trips do you normally do?

Red Rocks (stick to the track)
Rallywoods - keep an eye out for next trip
Akatarawa forest - Access via a club

check out the local clubs ... its worth joining one, have a look at kiwi4x4.org.nz as well

Odlins Road - top of the Akatarawa Hill, access without a club, good fun if you just want a day out.

Chur sound good cheers. I driving a nissan gq now factory turbo. Like mudd trips and hill climbs, mountain climbing haha Sh!t like that keen on all trips realy.

Its got another name... can't remember it. Its halfway along the road from Waikanae to Upper Hutt. Akatarawa Road
Find someone who's been up there before to go with you in another vehicle. It's not somewhere you want to get stuck or break down alone.

I'm also pretty new to Wellington as well, had a couple of runs around the south coast but looking to get into some bush/mud runs. Just wondering if theres any trips happening anytime soon? or anyone keen to go have a look at some of the tracks you guys have been talking about one sunday?
