Are you sure that you have a C200 diff head in that last photo (as they normally are salisbury style diff with a removeable face plate) that may be a H233 diff

This C200 LSD I just located and pulled, this ones spoken for but may have lead on another

The solid axle C200 version is sort of seen as Nissans answer to the Dana 44, similar in terms of dimensions/capacities/applications. Ring gear is actually 7.87"
35s are considered safe and reliable, 37's are considered to be really pushing the envelope w/ this diff.
Realistically strength wise it is somewhere between a Dana 35 and D44, closer to the D44 end.
The H233B strength wise is somewhere between a D44 and a D60 which is a one-ton axle. People have this idea the H233 is unbreakable and its really not, its just a big (albeit well designed) unit for its application.

Not to hard to locate the C200 LSD can be found in the rear of most D21 (89-96) Navara's. Keep those diff parts so you can add a pair of extra clutch plates (they are interchangeable between most C200 and H233 diffs).

Only 4x4 Navaras have them, & only as optional equipment. Sometime in the 90s they changed the side gear spline count to 30 (or 31?), its the 29-spline one you want. Also get as old as possible (pre 1990), they skimped on clutch count as the years went by. The clutches are the expensive bit.
The C/R200 clutch LSD is in high demand & road car guys want them for their S14/s13/240sx/300zx, as well as being a popular unit for 510 swaps and custom applications up to 300ish hp.

Correct but not interchangeable with the Y60 Safari rear LSD which have 4-tabs per plate & 33-spline side gears but is otherwise the same unit.
Those directions from MY1PATH are cool and hes a good guy, but way overcomplicated for no reason... its literally a case of splitting it open and adding some more clutches. This has been covered here on ORE, as well as getting one of these LSDs to work in the front of a WD21.
Good writeup from the OP, we need more stuff like this here. Pics, tutorials etc, keep it local... also the JDM trucks have quite a few technical differences to the USDM ones too

Thanks for the info guys. I have some spear clutch plates if a member wonts them. 'atta boy.
I'll put the word out for a compatible C200 LSD for ya
Ideally we need a drop in R180 front LSD for you diesel Terrano guys.
From what I have researched, 2005/2006 Subaru WRX STI had a R180 clutch type LSD that some Nissan S-Chassis guys use. Only 05/06, the rest were viscous

Well spotted
I thought 2wd Navaras only had the H190 rear end
Although they used the C200 solid axle in a variety of applications. I saw a full float version at the wreckers from an Atlas dumptruck. That would be a cool rear end upgrade for a D21 Navara; a full float C200 with a super-packed 4-pin LSD.
