My Caravan was stolen at about midnight on Saturday From Greenstone Valley....my section is on the edge of the 4x4 tracks no name rd etc,it was spotted going over the Arthurs pass at 1 30 by a large silver 4x4 [ do not know the make ]it was being towed very quickly as the people that spotted said look at that they are bloody towing as if they stole it [ jokingly at the time ]
The Van is a Cream with brown stripes with super storm on the sides,it has a cracked left window [ lots of small cracks ] also has been screwed and glued with a white glue,very noticeable..the RGO number is K895H..and also has a caravan club number 33760 [ red wings ]

Thanks mate it was our home on the Coast,we went there every month..heaps of personal stuff in it as well

Sounds like it was on its way to chch ...why dont you ring news talk zb tomorrow morning in chch 03 3401098 when talk back is on 9-12 & ask if anyone has seen it ....then in arvo ring again 0800 801080 when the show goes nation wide & ask if anyone has seen it ...cant hurt to try .

they prob do it for a living. taking it somewhere to clean repaint and put diff reg number on it and take it to tahuna to sell or something like that

Also keep an eye on the ChCh Press - theres a few caravans starting to be rented to people who have to move back home to a buggered house because their accom insurance has run out. Be worth ringing any that sounded similar.

We now know who stole my van,100% positive identification ... just trying to find them,........We got a lot of help from the public on this from the Coast many many thanks..these thieves have been causing havoc

Awesome news man. Probably don't want to make the second half of that too public though.
Apparently crims can be victims too these days if they have a good lawyer

kricky fella pull that post as it show premedation which if it gets into there hands you will go for a skate.

other than writing it down it sounds like the right thing to do
