adjustable pannard rods?

Post by Petemcc »

whats the go with these, i understand that if they were longer you could get more flex, however surely the wheel wouldnt come back up as far. If they were able to change length on their own then surely that would defete the purpose of having one (as far as i know to stop the axel moving side to side).
Can anyone explain?
cheers Pete

Adjustable panhards have a threaded section so they can be adjusted according to the height of your lift so the wheels return to there center position, once they are set you dont need to adjust unless you change vehicle ride height again.
They dont change lenght as you drive.
