okay thats good to know; I was more thinking in terms of drivability on the road. I've heard they can be a pain to drive in traffic. Only ever had experience with driving a levin with a ceramic clutch which felt like a leg press machine

Get a standard Excedy. Mine has been in for about two years and gets lots of abuse.

I put in a heavy duty exeedy clutch when i put the Vitara motor in my Samurai. It feels no different to the old standard one, but im sure it will put up with a bit more punishment ( that's if I get angry with the gogo pedal as im a bit of a nanna )

i wouldnt go exedy as in the last year and a bit, there quality has gone out the window. i have a exedy h/d kit in my truck and as of last saturday it is no more, done less than 500kms with it, something has failed, the h/d kit i had in my car failed after a few months, a few people i know with exedys have had them fail in no time at all.

just letting ya know

i was hoping to go to a better clutch, but from what everyones saying it might be better to just go standard, repco can do a kit for $218 which isn't bad
