Offroad-Express

have been building my sj410 ute and pretty much finished but when i drive it for an hour or so it cuts out. open the airfilter box and the filter has gas in it which is leading the motor to flood. had a electric fuel pump on it first so changed it back to mech pump which looked good but still ran to much gas in the filter. pulled return pipe off fuel filter while running and it seems to be pumping a lot of fuel out of it. (is this normal) thinking there might be a block in return pipe to tank which is causing the pump to push to much fuel threw carb?- havent had time to check this yet. ran the ute for a while without filter in and this helped but after awhile the carb would still flood.
any help would be great

Maybe try blowing out the return line with compressed air?
