safety hook spring plates

hi guys,guess this should go in here.about to remount my hooks for good but the spring plates which hold the rope on have snapped.does anyone know where to buy new ones?hooks are now side mounted so need to have them otherwise rope / strops will just fall off..any ideas?cheers

Bag of cable ties from mitre 10? Haha thats what i use for front hooks as the holder things are useless

i biff the plates away dude they all break then slice ya hands ....cut a strip of bike tube looped behind bolt side snatch strap is threaded though rubber and pulled into the hook works great if it breaks its easy as to replace

You are miles better to use one of these bird beaks. You can mount them in any position and work alot better than those spring clips

Hardware, fishing, forestry places sell them or look on the internet

cheers for replies guys.yeah I know they're not super great but yeah.few good ideas here though.will look into them further i think
