Extended Shackles Beam Axle hilux

hey
just wanting to get some guys opinions on extended shackles in a beam axle lux front and rear..
or problems they cause etc

have had people say do it and people say don't..

I already have 2" lift springs but just want to gain a bit more height..

any advice appreciated. cheers

I have also read as much info for them as against. I think it comes down to preference really (and the WOF man). Yes it does give you a bit more lift, and a bit more flex, but also introduces extra sideways movement of the axle on the road, and front diff will need caster plates to correct allignment.
But as opinions go, if I could afford/make a set I would use them, standard steering doesnt like going much higher than standard tho at least on my truck until I can sort out doing a drag link end flip or if i win lotta a x-over conversion

Youll have to correct pinion angles aswell
