Have I buggerd up nissan cd geabox combo

Ok so ive got a sj413 and it had a nissan CD17 mated to the suzuki manual gearbox. I. have now pulled this out and found a CD20 which I bolted to a auto gearbox that came out of a silvia that had a CA petrol. now that is all fine and I was going to chuck that into my zuk, the engine wireings fine but now to the gearbox which I think ive buggerd up on. I just thought I could just chuck it all in put the gearbox in drive and floor it and it will change up gears but I kinda thought does the gearbox need wired up to match the engine so as to read the rpm of the motor so it can change gears like that (hope not) because I probley cant wire the gearbox to the diesel

Hey, The CA auto is usually computer controlled. With out the comp it will run in third and reverse.

You can however use the shift switch to control some relays and make it a manual shift auto. It is a bit harsh when cold as unless you want to get really flash you dont need to control line pressure or the convertor lockup.

I can see if I find my wiring diagram if the above makes sense. I know the above works its what I run in my W/C zuk that runs a CA18de + supercharger with the CA box.

By manual shift auto do you mean I still select the gears? and just shif through the gears in the auto box?

Well i havent got a wireing diagram yet of how to wire the relays, anyone know how to find out how to do it?
