2.5 ltr L200 turbo diesel - engine swaps?

Consider the 2.8 engine out of the later model triton or pajero's? They are similar spec to the 3.0 you talk of but available with manual pump to make fitting much easier. But then again, you'd need to be pretty dedicated to your vehicle, costs during transplants always get carried away.
There is plenty of info available for Mitsubishi stuff though...
