LN61 body swap To Single cab swb Chassis HELP!!!

Post by Dannz71 »

I have a IFS ln61 surf and i want to put it on a single cab short wheelbase chassis so i have the solid front axle swap with out all the cutting and welding of leaf spring mounts.

is this a simple bolt up opperation??

if so then what is the chassis number that will match?

has this been done before? and if i have to move some body mounts then which mounts are wrong?

i have access to hoists and welding gear.

I appreciate any input... cheers

Be a lot easier if you just bought a factory solid front axle surf.

yea tried that but live axle surfs are extremly expensive, i cant even find a bare live axle surf chassis for under $1500

if any one knows of a live axle surf chassis available please let me know!
Just need a bare chassis, i have diffs and are going to use custom leaf packs.
