sunroof wont close

so i just picked up my new surf, opened the sunroof and now i cant get it closed.
anyone know if this is a common problem? how hard would it be to close it and just leave it that way? and how hard would it be?

got it sorted, manual screw takes farking ages to wind and not easy either.
