You will need to loosen the steering joint and watch the fuel filler tube as well - that might not be a problem on a double cab though depending on how it is mounted.

The brake lines should be okay but if you have long travel shocks and extended shackels then you should check that they don't reach the limit of their travel by jacking from the frame and watching them extend.

Why are you needing to lift 50mm ?? Are you fitting larger tyres ??

Just askin because you don't increase you ability off-road with the body going up but if you lift the suspension you gain.

got 32 swampers at the mo and they only just fit and would like to one day get 34/35's under it and get some room under the deck , dont want to chop deck as it gets used too much , is just big enough so dont want to make any smaller ..
got second hand springs that lifted it about 40/45 mm .
power will be arriving when do motor swap , maybe supra, lex , dont know yet will have to count pennys when time comes ...

Looks like you have a custom flatdeck... use some 50mm box on it - thats much cheaper and much stronger than using body blocks to lift it. As for the cab, you should only have 6 mounts. two in the front, two in the footwell and two behind the front seats...

[edit for blonde moment]
8 blocks, doh! Its a d-cab not single... two more blocks behind the rear seat... and as mentioned, check the fuel filler pipe... might need to slip it up the tank mount a little and down the body mount a little.
[/edit]

You would be better off moving the front axle forward to clear bigger tyres... but a body lift is a simpler solution.

The only thing you will need to look out for is the radiator shroud hitting the fan... if its a split one remove the bottom half of the shroud then keep an eye on the temp gauge... if its getting hotter then remount the rad lower to keep the fan in the middle and put the shroud back on.

Also, some NZ new Hiluxes I've done have had problems with the handbrake cables stretching too much... check it where it runs down the firewall...
