Well went into Woodhill for our club patrol..
Had a great time, first time out since the Easter challenge..
However I have damaged more on todays trip then the whole event.....
Took out a door and frame on a tree...
Honestly it just jumped out at me...
Had to get the truck pulled sideways to get off the branch....
Kids got showered in glass.... But they are o.k...
So need a new Left hand rear passengers door complete for a LWB Lj or Kzj Prado...
Colour green would be nice but anything really....

fitted bucket seats (in a rough fashion) and got the fuel injection working properly, a fuel pressure gauge showed 32 psi of return pressure from the throttle body

supposed to be less than 4psi
replaced the return pipe for a bigger diameter one & found the old pipe kinked.
now starts and runs sweet, just got to fit new leads, sort handbrake & replace the trans sump gasket & give her a trial run
the chev sounds sweet running open headers

Thought I would change the oil on the pto winch before I use it. I see the previous owner was using mud and water... Looks like it is from woodhill. Might need to design a breather.
Don't really want to change the diff oils now.. scared

went snow mobiling up at Whistler, had to do a quick 4wd trip in a six seater wranger to get to the machines, had a good ride, bit tame, was going well till one of the group rolled his machine and cut his knee open, about 60mm wide and nice and deep gotta be 6-8 stitches at least, got fun machines!!

Cut an "access hole" (read; chopped half the deck out) in the plywood at the back of my deck to investigate how I am going to mount rear tow hooks, rummaged in the scrap steel found a perfect piece of 6mm thick angle and cut to make a bracket running along the main deck rail and butted against the rear frame rail so should be nice and strong, had a break went to get welded out, and along comes the torrential rain. I've done some stupid sh*t before but even I wasnt down for welding in the rain haha

I went and watched at the pig farm on Sunday. Took so long to even get through the first few bits.
Locals were also extremely vocal

Pic a part on sat and grabed a spair transfer case to start moding in rock crawler gears and grabed a rear diff head for when I eventually get around to seting up independantly suported front diff. also hand to have spair diff for now.
Fit new clucth slave cylinder and hose to replace the old cracked and leaking ones.
looked at wheel arches for a long time, umm'd and arr'd at how Im gona get thees muds to fit, thinking I'm just gona have to bite the bullet and start chopping. and add some rubber flairs after.
Went to extend the rear bake presure regulator conector rod that goes to diff to accomidate lift and found presure reg siezed up..

thatll be why the rears used to lock up all the time

wonder how much thats gonna cost for replacment
finished up thermofan switch T piece install and tested out. works great, so it took off and painted up

The pools are only a short walk from the carpark, and only 400m or so from the camping area. Some big boulders in the last 2 river crossings so we just kept to the bridges, but the first one was great fun.

Was pretty spectacular having a few brews in the tub and watching the stars move around that night.
