MCC Winch Bar '05 Hilux

I was asked by my brother to get a winch on his Hilux hunting wagon. He has owned it from new and was a Sport Wagon wellside model. It has since had a tray back put on it for the dog boxes. Last month, I fitted EFS 40mm lifted springs and shocks with the front springs +130kg in preparation for a bar and winch.
After a bit of shopping around he purchased a MCC package off Mike at http://www.winch.co.nz.
At $2k, it was alot of product for the buck.

It came with the fog, park and indicator lights already installed. The loom that comes with the fog lights needs to be reconfigured to only go when the park lights are in use, but not a biggie.
The runva plasma package came with a rather nice alloy Fairleigh and with a bit of mucking around the solenoid box fitted well in the middle.

The winch gearbox did need to be changed so the clutch handle was accessible through the hole in the top of the bar.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It was well worth spending the time to lay the cables and wires right. All the mounting hardware was included are very happy with the outcome

Cheers,
