Cleaning mud etc out of the engine bay

Post by dazza85 »

I've got a 91 surf (diesel) that I took out for a play in the mud :D :D :D

Now I can't see anything in the engine bay for the MUD :? :?

Whats the best way of cleaning it ??

What do I need to watch out for ??
There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

thats the beauty of a diesel, aside from the alternator, nothing to worry about really.. medium pressure water blaster or strong hose would do a good job... just be aware of air intake too..

well, thats what i'd do to my 40 if i gave a crap about it  .. good ole rusty... :D
