mq diff head into gq

right have found a complete mq running,
i know the crownwheel and pinion will fit into my saf.
are the diff housing the same ?? ,hoping they will just swap ovr and all i have to do is swap both my lsd's out into mq diffs

any help would be great

front gq same as rear mk/mq only

Housings are different MQ/MK have a H233 rear diff (meaning a a banjo style with a 233mm crown wheel) and a C200 front (200mm crown wheel and a salisbury style housing with removeable faceplate). GQ have H233 diff front and back, they are also wider and the pumkin is in the centre at the back rather than offset to the drivers side as on the MQ. However if you need MQ/MK parts let me know as I have a mostly complete parts truck.

the front and rear crownwheel and pinoin will still fit in my GQ thou ??

You can only use the back crown wheel - the front crown wheel is smaller which will most likely mean that it won't mesh with the pinnon properly in the housing
