Possibly cheaper to put a Vitara/Escudo 1600 motor in? (don't know if they if they fit  )

But then again, you may be able to fit a 4AGZE supercharger or complete motor 8)

Have you see the size of a 4agze blower ? They are not small , I would say way to big for a 1300 . There is a smaller supercharger about that fits rather well but I would get a 1.6 engine first and work from there . I know of a complete 1.6 carby for sale ? With Ben's adaptor bolts in , no efi issues to worry about if you do not like efi .

Gidday there, Supercharging is a mint option especially with a 1600 engine
The supercharger fits in in nicely beside the extractors and there is enough room to put a intercooler in front of the radiator and if you really keen you can put the truck on lpg and run 15lbs boost with out having to touch the compression in the engine. So it has been done in NZ and it is a reliable set up plus it gives you a awesome power curve.

I've got the Swift twin cam 1300 in mine. Its a fairly easy swap, and bolts straight up to the box etc. 100hp in stock trim. But they are getting pricey to buy. I assume your wagons roadleagal? Otherwise the options are limitless.

same as Apex, I run a Swift GTi, but for ease and budget I would grab that cheap vitara motor and one of Bens adaptor kits.

yeah probably the best bet, you can always do the head, cam, inlet and exhaust fairly cheaply if its still a bit under powered.

Which supercharger do you use? Have you seen this set up with injection? I'm mid 1600 conversion at the moment the injection is the only hassel but a carbed engine would be a no brainer.

Where the A/C would sit. There may be one happening too a 16V efi in a flatdeck coming soon
Supercharger is the one off the subaru 660cc engines (AMR300 Chris??) Got one for Lil Pig Mk2 and trying to secure another one for the flatdeck :?

My samurai had a mr2 blower but was missing the factory clutch and pully set up, I made my own pully and had about a inch from the back of the blower to the nearest extractor pipe.

I recall the rear tailshaft too
Was that a one off problem?? How did the rest of the drivetrain hold up to the supercharger and what psi were you running through the motor??

Anther zuk on the cards or something else??

yes, just given a set too a mate, they came with a zuk I bought. Some people reckon they dont exist anymore. Try "Chase Automotive components" in Auckland. If they dont do them any more then try suzisport.com in aussie. Failing that a guy in papakura "Papakura performance mufflers and exhausts" will make them from scratch. May cost some more but he does a lot of the exhausts for the auckland based national triallers and knows his shit. (and does our local trial series so knows where to put the exhaust out of harms way should you get him to do the whole shebang - did my swift GTi headers and exhaust and my SJ410 exhaust before I went to the GTi engine and did a primo job)
May as well give him a plug as a lot of exhaust outlets dont know our "requirements"

I can vouch for a good job done by Papakura Mufflers as above .
You want to see where the exhaust goes under my nissan powered 413 , starts left goes right and then ends up left again . Tucked well up out of harms way and even split pipes around a full plug so you could get to it without dropping exhaust :D

Yeah I broke 2 tailshaft universals in six months(That will teach me to buy repco parts- changed back to genuine Koyo universals off suzuki $$$$$ at nearly 3 times the price , but never broke another one.)
Never broke much else- in fact I still ran the standard 1300 gear box with a adaptor plate, but I did have a very heavy duty clutch in it.
No new Suzuki at moment, but a new lexus powered winch challenge truck will be ready to roll in the next few months.
