http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_PZ_engine
The 1PZ is a 3.4 L (3469 cc) Inline 5 cylinder, 10 valve SOHC diesel engine. Bore is 94 mm and stroke is 100 mm, with a compression ratio of 22.7:1
Output is 113 hp (85kw) at 4000 rpm, with 230 Nm (170 lbft) of torque at 2600 rpm.
The 1PZ is a 5 cylinder variant of the 1HZ engine and as such it shares many of it's internals with that engine.

Southern 4WD (chch) put one in a Rangie - turbo'ed with a kit from OZ - very nice (the engine - not the rangie)
1PZ is a beaut engine - balance a glass of water on the rocker cover smooth
Only thing that let a mates locked 70 1PZ was the leaf springs turning it into a jetboat hull with no power & that was on 33" Simex's
