Try this guy, I meet him briefly once and he seemed like a straight up guy. Gonna buy the new bits for my engine rebuild from him soon, prices seem pretty good.

I see. You should use an restrictor in the turbo oil feed hole to reduce oil pressure. Rear seal may have now worn

My guess is that he will put it down to installation error and still claim that his turbos never crap out.

So you pulled the whole motor out just to find out it was the turbo seals? Guttered! Didnt someone mention that to you in another thread before you pulled the motor?

Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

this thread, he can find it, if he wants
pulling engine, well lowish compression and slight big end knock ,
was going to pull it anyway,
who says machanics are right,
the guys who did my clutch didn't belive the rear seal they replaced was leaking again
as with all butt protecting self serveing people you deal with,
we will rebuild it better

Good on ya for posting this, the interweb is a great place for pointing out dealers with low morals. Show them for who they are and their lack of customer back up / confidance in their product

Don't want to be a killjoy but you might want to get it checked for size. Most of the guys on the aussie sites are saying even with pump mods you should only be running the gt 2864 or the gt2868 or you get to much lag.
Is a real nice looking turbo tho

I didn't go hunting for this turbo, used errols diesels and turbo's in manukau, Father and son team, south african guys know their stuff , they got it in for me, they know my truck and had that DSR peice as well, they did my pump mods and rebuilt my injectors
