YESSS That feels good.........................

Post by Disco Gofer »

Bought meself another Disco this week end. 96 V8, auto, twin over head battery terminals, single divorce pipe etc.
Havnt had one for a year (last one a manual V8 93 with 33" and lift kit and LSD) now but needed a strong and well priced tow vehicle for my Cruiser bush truck so tottled off to Napier on the week end went shopping. So nice n smooth and used a half tank for 287km through the mountains to home so that awesome. My 2011 SV Holden wagon did 883 km that same weekend on one tank..............NICE!!!!
A good cut n polish and a valet to give it once off Birthday and every thing else works fine.

Although.....I have one remote and it looks tired but works. Where can I get a second one near Hamilton and how much all up with coding?

hi mate my job in is a lock smith on past experience with these you have 2 alarm sytems plus an imobiliser I will try and explain
interier alarm set by fob only //// also sets immobiliser and can only unset by fob ///// don't use ( who wants to steal a disco )
exterior alarm also sets imobiliser on auto after ign turned of or doors locked / closed etc after 30 secs approx
If doors left open / unlocked for awhile and wont start /// lock / unlock doors manually on button or key ( has gone into imob mode automatically
The fob if left attached to key in ign WILL not set imob
The interior alarm /cannot be by passed and the inteirer sensor is above pass seat belt top mount
IF no start on exterior lock add direct power to fuel pump under rear floor and truck should run ok
Read the service manual 20 x to try and under stand like I did ,I can send you a copy on cd
Oh and by the way I own a 110 flatdeck my 8th rover or self fladulation device . dont pick on my spelling at least i can start a disco , also look on tardme for new fob outer casings
cheers nick lokrite

You should be able to ok ,just dont ever set the interior alarm as it is different to the exterior alarm, very hard to explain but try it out at home first . also the fob probably contains a micro chip witch stops imobo when in ignition . IN my first post I meant lock unlock doors with interior door button or key cheers nick.
