V8 Diesel Project - Article

Hi All

A good friend of mine writes for NZ V8 magazine and was wanting to write an article on an interesting Diesel V8 project that someone may have done.

Anyone got any suggestions?

No, but Todd has asked him to write an article and we thought something on V8 Diesel engines would be an interesting change.

i was gunna try put a 6.2 chevy diesel into my terrano, but cant find one for the right money....

Sure isn't. They are as rare as hens teeth. Will have to wait a few years for the Toyota twin turbo V8 Diesel to be viable in a truck.

Not worth putting a toyota diesel v8 in. Much better off paying $6000 for a duramax or something which have much more power and much more reliable

Some dude that pulled us out at the waimak the other week ...north cant 4wd training and recovery or something had a very nicely set up landcruiser sporting the v8 diesel....

...i must say im useless other than that tho.

had a mate with a 67ish chev impala with a 350 diesel fitted in it. it was their car for towing the horse float.

105 toyota landcruiser fitted with the 4.5L single turbo V8 diesel.out of the flat decks
still have the guys number. long as he hasn't changed it.
