looking at buying one of these and the owner has said some times it has trouble starting he said its because the previous owner remover the cold idle solenoid because it was leaking apparently common ????????
and to also fix the problem it needs is the fuel cutoff solenoid......

so what im asking is has any one had this problem and fixed it and what was the cost or are there any mechanics out there that could quote this to be fixed.

Shouldn't trust sellers diagnosis, get it checked out yourself.
If it is what he says, if he has old bit makes it easier.
Otherwise you'll need another pump, and either swap whole pump over, or swap cold start advance assembly onto existing pump.

what would be a good estimate on the cost of this ?
