Ok so managed to get me a very straight and original 4 door 1991 Escudo for a pretty good price, Have been driving it around for the past 2 weeks now and VERY happy with it! I do plan on doing a few small mods but will be staying fairly standard as this is my daily driver (50kms a day) so dont want to compromise too much...

A few things on my to do list that some members may be able to help with?

Need a set of extractors for it (cant afford new)
Has anyone got a set of rims and AT type tires they want to sell?
Passenger side window is not working via either set of switches?

If anyone has any good tips for it or any cool parts kicking around they want to shift on please let me know!

Cheers!

Evan

That usually means the drivers side switch is faulty.

Pull the door panel and apply 12v directly to the motor, if it works then it will be the switch most likely.

Some switches you can take apart and clean with contact spray and possibly see what's broken.

Matt is onto it, apply 12V directly to the wires on the window motor, if it works then you need to figure out what stops 12V from getting to the motor when you are using the switches.

If you intend to do any offroading with your daily driver then the most important thing to protect underneath is the petrol tank, so you may want to look at buying or constructing a protector.

Otherwise they are fantastic cars, congratulations on the purchase.

I've got some Kumho AT's on V6 alloy rims. 215/70/16 2000km on the tyres so they're near new, the writing is still blue on the sides (hasn't faded to white yet).

$500 for all 4.

Let me know if your keen.
