Ordered a new radiator for TJ. Should change wipers as well, I might have to read up on factory manual first.

What did it end being? Was it the connector to blendoors?

My heater was fine, just the radiator has been seeping coolant for a couple of months down from the bottom tank (apparently). I thought I should change it now that the amount has increased, and before it blows up on me in traffic.

Printed out the 'service manual' for my TJ, all 1000 pages (ish) of it... So I can be a bit more confident when I start pulling her to bits...
Ie. fluids, spring lift, body lift, radiator, brakes etc

I have had a new high torque starter sitting at my feet in my office for 3mths. finally got it in today. But alas, it was only so the mutt could be started and go and live outside for while as I need the kennel space . It's not even at it's usual place of residence either, so I can't even look at it and say "I should be getting this or that done".

Hey at least Jeeps can be worked on by average punter, unlike some European vehicles where you need a degree in Computer Science just to change a blown bulb

t'was the price of replacement parts and wait time that caused me to sell my TJ

regreased front wheel bearings and changed front diff oil, checked everything over and went for a little spin up the paddock make shure its allgood for next weekend. then had a huge clean out of the shed and packed all my parts and gear up ready to shift into the tiny garage at the new place in a couple of weeks

Spent the morning using the Safaria as a tractor, dragging harrows around the calf paddock. Then this afternoon started work on my new roof basket to go on the Safari.
Building it big and strong 1.2 x 2.4 x .25 it will sit on 8 gutter mounts, base frame is made out of 34mm pipe with 3mm side wall and a floor of 50x50x4mm mesh. The top fram is made out of 25mm pipe with 2mm side wall.
Pretty happy with it so far

had a clear out of the garage with my flat mate and got rid of heaps of junk. then took 150kg odd of steel to the scrappy, got the land rover in the garage next to the honda project (not mine). so i can start to work on it seriously and out of the cold too. power steering pump doesn't line up so it isn't what the guy told me it was :( but will get it to fit.

off tomorrow to uwshho's to help him strip the surf out abit more and see if the steering uj's will fit onto the power steering box. Realistically though well stand around and talk sh*t all day and look at his zuk.

Had the same problem with safari. kept blowin the auto fuse. Found the reversing feed had melted 5 wires together in the loom. Had to cut out a metre out five wires and replaced with 5core trailer wire. Man it was amission

Well been an expensive weekend....
The only time the truck has been touched was to back it out of the garage so I could get the washing machine out and put in the new one..... :|
Our old Smart Drive has given up the ghost (did get 14 years out of it)
Now some one on here used the motor bit for a generator???

This weekend has been great. Yesterday went to seaworld and competed against the masses for fun rides. Today meet up with Wax and did a couple of local tracks. Had an awesome time. Will post pics when I get home.
Tomorrow Movieworld
It was a cool 24degs.

Cheers,
