Can Superwinch LP10000 solinoids be mounted remotely?

Garage talk. Anything from mounting a winch to water proofing the electrics.

Can Superwinch LP10000 solinoids be mounted remotely?

I'm doing some research on the Superwinch LP10000. The pics I have seen all show solinoids mounted over the motor. If mounted on the front ofmy Nissan GQ factory winch bar setup the solinoids may foul up with the driving lights. Does anyone know if the Superwinch LP10000 solinoids can be mounted remotely?

Ring Phil at Traxion in Auckland, he's the Super Winch and EFS distributer. What he doesn't know about winches isn't worth knowing. (and what I post sometimes doesn't come out right)

Sure can, just need to source cables from soleniod to motor.
