For sale here is a 1989 Toyota Hilux Surf. Setup at 'The Surf, Toyota Should Have Made'.
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=487806181&permanent=0
It Features:
1uzfe "lexus" v8 motor with 190kw
Lexus automatic trans with trans cooler.
Factory 1uz ECU controlling both engine and auto.
Prado front diff giving the chassis awesome articulation while still having the Prado road manners.
Front bumper toughened up to take a standard sized winch and has bar work in behind to give it strength. Is very very strong!
On board air supply that easily runs a rattle gun. Has a 25 litre air tank under the floor. This is all controlled automatically to any pressure to .01 of a psi.
33 inch GT Radial Tires on 9inch wide alloy rims.
This truck can run 35inch Simmex's with no worries.
Fuel tank is a factory V6 surf tank with inbuilt pump.
The truck is easy to drive with open road speeds able to be held on any hill. Great for passing cars etc.
Low box this thing really comes alive. It will eat boy racers for breakfast with a top speed of over 130ks (still in low box). This may seem too high but crawling is still done with ease.
Final Note: Due to the nature of the vehicle and its intended use it will be sold As Is Where Is.
There is some cosmetic damage as can be expected. This is shown in the photos. The truck will come with a full set of doors (Blue) which will fix most of this.
Please view the motor running on YouTube:

Re: Toyota Hilux Surf V8 with SAS!!!
Yeah your right KIWI_TERRANO, it was a comprimise with space and using factory parts. It has a small amount of bump steer but is not an issue. Being able to have the bracket close to the chassis rail far out weighed the small bump steer i thought. It was going to have a long bracket that didnt look all that strong so thats why I went down that road.
Good Spotting!!
Cheers.
