Parts supplier WD21 Balljoints, TREs etc

Post by lax2wlg »

Hi there
Wheres the best place to get suspension balljoints and steering tie rods for these trucks? I'm in Wellington but would also order online if price was better.

Also, looking for the cup-washers for the tension arms (compression rod) bushings - I have new bushings and sleeves, but need washers

Also looking for the clutch slave cylinder boot where it bolts to the trans bellhousing

Anybody have any ideas??

Cheers

Ball joints and TRE's from BNT, but TRE's they are cheap crap that only last a few weeks before getting flogged out
Washers from any wrecker that has a D21.
Slave cylinder boot.....who needs it, they do f*** all.
You can get complete new cylinder for real cheap from BNT as well

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Cheers, yeah I guess 33s and torsion twist will spit the TREs pretty quick. Is there a supplier of moog tie rods in NZ??

Cheers,

From Bnt (and/or Autolign; same company  ) ask for the 555 brand stuff, it is made in japan and very good quality.
I also believe they are going to have the moog (federal mogul) brand shortly-ish.

Let us all know if you hear more about this please. I was looking at getting some from the US but the freight is a killer there.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Do you mean rubber boot on clutch cylinder, or rubber boot on clutch fork to stop water etc getting inside bellhousing?

Cochram nissan do some good prices (and some not so good  ). Check their listings on trademe and ask for a price if they don't have what you after.
