leaking power steering system, leaking rear main seal .......these are common on the pre 93 models, don't be alarmed if there is oil around the sandwich plate between the motor and box, the last one i had leaked but still clocked up half a million kms. i was the uptenth owner.
the power steering box can leak, this is a WOF fail, i was poor at the time so remedied mine by using diff oil, so thick it wouldn't leak under pressure anyway. also makes a great steering dampener.

some do have injector pump failures aswell, but it is non specific to any particular production of MU's Wizards, bighorns and rodeo's i think its more to do with servicing then manufacture designs

Does diff oil really work as PS fluid? Mine leaks i just make sure i clean it all up before wof. Can u mix diff oil and ps fluid so that it isnt too damped? Or do they not mix properly

I do apologize if my post here is quite late. Anyway, 92 isuzu mu is a great 4x4. Most of the pros and cons were already mentioned and for me, that enough information for you for the mean time. The only thing that you need to know is that if
aftermarket parts of isuzu mu for 1992 model was still available in most auto parts shop so that you will not a hard time for its maintenance.
