i havent run a front swaybar for 2 years, i have left the rear one in it disconnects anyway} it depends on how much road work you do, take the front one off and try it, if its no good put it back on.

removed both on the paj, no dramas, just treat the 55 kph corners with respect, met up with a guy in porirua last weekend (was picking up my swampers) with a safari, who also runs without either front or rear bars.

As everyone says give it a go, nothing to loose, lots to gain (articulation) :D

i've removed the front swaybar on the wagen when i took it for a test drive i drove another g wagen he had there and it obviously didn't have an anti roll bar on it it wallowed all over the road made it great for the rough stuff though pity the gearbox was totally impractical for the motor or i would have looked at it a little more seriously

Contrary to popular beleif, removing the front sway bar does bugger all to your road handling. mine didn't even have one on from the factory, nither did my dads LWB.

Removing the rear is what makes the difference on the road.

So get rid of the front one and use the factory dissconnect lever for the rear.
