I need a little more room up front for 35's and im in the process of cutting away the bottom gaurd section but I feel that it's not going to be quite enough.. Whats the rules for either re drilling the leading arm mount or making it oval and welding a washer where needed..? Anyone got advice..? not a Vice..lol

Just put a spacer at the rubber mount at the of the arm furtherest from the diff and push the whole diff forward.Hope that makes sense.Moved mine forward 14mm and helped with my issues.

Depends what vehicle?
As already said... One type you can pack out the attachment at the chassis...
You can use drop boxes...
Or elongate one of the holes etc etc...
If it looks factory and same thickness / strength why worry re rules etc etc....

haha im hearing you

.. Just was wondering about geometry issues etc.. I plan to make it look as factory as possible just to ease the minds of the warrent guys as we all know they can get a bit flustered..

then you have to show them ya get outter jail plate..

Are you talking about the holes in the diff brackets? If so you wont get alot of movement, the arm is shaped to go around the diff, moving t more than a few mm will result in the arm hitting the diff housing under flex. You will be better off pushing the chassis end forward as mentioned above

only thing you need to pay attention to is that you don't go too far forward and cause a bind with the steering drag link or the panhard bar
If your after inspiration search safari and cruiser suspension lift kits.... they use a drop box to sort caster issues caused by the lift and the radius arm
Cheers Reece

Thanks Reece.. searching as much as i can.. I can by the sounds move it up to about 35mm 1 1/2 "without too much problems and if I make up some dropboxs I can do 2 things.. ditch my caster platesa and move axle forward.. but you know.. search.. research then ponder.. then search.. then plunge..
