Hey my name is Tyron, Tye for short. im from the waikato, putaruru and i own a 4x4 1997 mazda proceed extra cab. lookin for some advice on what offset of rim/tyre im able to use to beef it up abit.
iv already have after market shocks and lift kit in the rear but the front will not go any higher with the torsion bars... any ideas thanks.

what rims is it running now 15 or 16''
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

16" rims with 265/70 goodyear wranglers

ok ran one with same tyres, can run out of puff on offroad steep climbs.
also the handbrake is great to put power to the front wheels for climbing out of holes as rear axle gets more drive than front axle,
to much offset then you need a guard chop ,
trim the front bump stops to get a bit more upward travel at the wheel,
and radiator like to collect muddy water turn it to mud and overheat the engine, radiator set low

i think he wants to go to a 15x10.5-15 tyre and maybee 15x8 steel rims for cheaper and and more choice of tyres we have also tried my rims on but the offset was way to much for his marvie and cant find any stamps on the alloys that are on there at the moment of what offset they might be.

can you remember what you where running coxsy? i cant find any pics

with such a wheel base i'd be thinking about raising it as apposed to widening its wheel track...(raising it more)

he's lifted his, mine the red one was not lifted, it was tyres size he was after and 2011 was to long ago to remember tyre size. :roll:
