NEW SERVER - ONLINE TOMORROW

As of midnight the site is going to be switched to the new server.
The old site will be shutdown at midnight and the new one will come online throughout the day depending on your location.
It is pretty much ready and I imagine there will be things that need fixing so post them here.
I don't have time to test everything so would be grateful if people can report something that is not working for them, ie timezones or posting in forums, gallery uploads and such.
Cheers, hope to see you all tomorrow

only just saw this post... thats cool mike...
Just looked at the port stats peaked at 256kbits today... bugger all

less than my desktop PC... % utilisation wise doesn't look like much on a 1Gbit interface

I suspect it might go a tad higher but not much at peak times (around 6pm - 8pm ) but not today as not everyones DNS has updated so they cant see the new site and the old server spat the dummy this morning, probably sulking

Why not just run up the old server with a redirect to the new using IP instead of DNS? at least they will be able to get to it then. It's what I do when customers want zero downtime transfering servers/domains etc..

Well actually I was going to add that to my temp page this morning but my old server went offline early this morning and needed a reboot. But no one home till 9pm tonight so that didnt happen. Also it would work for somethings on the site(forums and reading stuff) using the ip but not for other bits of the site as they are url specific eg gallery and shop.
