Gidday boys,
Any TD42 owners checked to see if they have a gauze filter deep inside the inlet banjo fitting?
The Aussie mob are going on about them at the moment (pulling them out and replacing (~$20)) and I'm wondering if the Kiwi crowd are aware of them?

Yep there known. not sure replacement is neccesary, just cleaning is what Iv done. there deep down and if you did'nt know one should be there you wouldnt see it. worth doing once when you get the truck but with doing filters regularly shouldnt need to do again for most people

olny really need to do it if they blocked and just then just take it out. When i got my lwb safy it wouldn't rev over 3g. took the gauze out and its all good.

I've always cleaned and replaced mine, rather than have the crap it catches end up in the injectors
