Hey guys,

Friend of mine is having issues with his 3.1L diesel bighorn

He was out hunting and managed to short out his alternator and melted a few wires and blew a couple of fuses.

he has since replaced all the blown fuses, and it has started cutting out since.

its hard to say if it is linked, as it was going fine for a week or so and then cut out.

Im partial to say it could be a relay somewhere? but which one would be a good question.

Well looking foward to see what you folks have to say,

Cheers,

Tristan

also check the fuel line sys. as it also has been known to have crap in the tank which blocks the pipe, cause a vac in the line and stops the motor, will it stop when reving in the drive drive way, if so watch the filter primer to see if it get sucked down? where in nz are you?
