New To This

Post by TeMiroTurkey »

Hi All, just thought I would introduce myself, I have lurked around the Forum for a while and have found it very interesting, I have had a couple of different 4x4's over the years from Courier ute to XJ Cherokee, Forrester and Jeep Patriot.
I have just got rid of the Patriot and got my hands on a JK Wrangler Rubicon SWB. The Wrangler is completely stock, and I intend to use it everyday as my work vehicle. I would like to do some fun offroad stuff with the kids and will modify it where neccesary, but need to keep it relatively road friendly.
Any suggestins on how to get into things would be greatfully recieved.
Cheers
Dom.

With decent tyres, a Ruby should be good for a lot of fun as is. I am sure Waikato area guys here would be happy to show you around.

There are a good bunch of Jeepers on the forum.

Hi Mate , welcome, Get hold of Brian Willaims in Cambridge, I think he does building inspections for new home buyers, I don't have his number but should be in the book, real nice guy, met him at Jeep Jamboree in Wellington a coulpe of years ago, he's been into jeeps for a very long time
Yea, though I drive through the valley of death (and it's mudbogs), I shall fear no trail;for tho art modified is my rig, and thy lift kit and lockers they comfort me. Amen
