I have not played with the vg30 but keen to see how you get on. are you thinking of using the sc14 ? if you enjoy spending lots of money the Eaton m90 off l67 vt,vx,vy commodore would look very cool, but will be ass making manifolds to suit. the sc14 is a cheaper option and easier to do not that it will be easy. ya will need to piggyback the ecu to. as a oppshion i think the early 300zx had a narrow vg turbo.

the vg30dett is too wide ya would need to cut out all the inner guards and wheel wells. there is a thread on npoa some where on it tho.

If you could get an M90 to work they are on eBay in the states for less than $200 US all the time, Manifolds would be a bit of work like passenger Pete says and it would really need to sit on top of the valley to keep the manifold as simple as possible.
