As title states just want to no how big a factory tank is in my 92 4 door nomad,just wanting to do some calculations.

The handbook I've got for the 95 Sidekick says 42L 2-door, 55L 4-door.

Most I've ever put in mine ('91 Vitara) is about 40L (I've got the 2 door) so that sounds about right.

Thanks for that man,got a commy v6 in my zuk and I seem to be getting 300km to a tank,seems a bit excessive....may have to look at getting computer looked at.

Maybe check the O2 sensors?

Has o2 censor fitted,is it worth replacing it or can they be tested?

Not sure if you can test them, shouldn't be too expensive?

i have a factory v6 in my scud and only get just over 400kms a tank on the open road and thats only a 2lt

Just to piss you off mines the little old 1.6l injected 16v and I get about 600km to the tank in a 4 door

You must have either fitted a bigger tank or your speedo is way out cause I seriously doubt you could get that sort of economy out of a stocker

i got 550km on a tank in a 5dr 1.6 from tauranga to wellington

I was always worried about my V6 mitzi.
I don't feel that bad anymore.

its all relevant though, how much gas does your mitsi tank hold?

3dr 1.6 escudo/vitara tanks hold 42 litres
5dr 1.6's hold 55
2.0 3 & 5 doors hold 70
the most gas i ever put in my 5 door to fill it up was 45 litres.

on my landcruiser i have done over 800k on 75 litres, 90-95 litre tank....

Don't be complaining, I done 200 Kim's on my tb42, a full tank is about 85-90l

Nope all stock, Last tank was 567km and that involved about 60km of heavy load towing. I did run an additive to the tank about 7 tanks ago that was meant to clean the injectors etc but other than that its all totally stock.

If its a 55L tank then thats still not that impressive, its just over 10km per L which compared to my corrola is pretty bad. But its much bigger

escudos and vitara get shit fuel ecomony, they aren't ment for highway cruising, hence the manuals 1.6's are pulling 3700rpm @ 100kph

1.6 cars get 45mpg or so. 1.6 escudos get low 30's.
