seat repair in chch

Post by Heath »

The drivers seat in my prado needs fixing. The cushion/rubber on the door side has collapsed and its becoming uncomfortable to drive for long periods. Where can I go to get it sorted, approx what is the cost and how long to get it done?

Should I get another seat (found one) get that fixed and swap it out then sell the old one?

I use Marcus at Clausens Canvas in Leeston for all my upholstry thru work (seats / tonneau's / carpets you name it) & he is excellent / cost effective / fast & not far from Roly

Phone Burkes metalworks in Hornby and ask for Jason...his bro Glen is a trimmer and works from home in Templeton or West Melton. Brilliant work and knows his stuff, has done it all his life.

Jason will give you the phone number etc.

Anyone know if LWB prado driver seat will fit in a SWB prado? Same year.

I know where I can get one (buggered though, but only for a week or so) to swap out while I get my one fixed and then move the new/old one on for nix.
