Safari speedo possessed

Mates safari has a speedo with a mind of its own, wants to do 100kph in town and sometimes 70kph on open road, bloody thing is all over the place, any ideas ?? Its on a 92 safari

take the cable off and chuck a good amount of crc down it

na has the wiring rubbed though between the rear of the tranfer and the dash. and vibration causing the differents ??????

what else is connected to the 12v - 24v converter under the passenger seat ? This convertor is not made to run more than just the "electric 12v speedo"

Under passenger seat ?? looks like an amplifier for the stock stereo system as with the one under drivers seat thats hold another speaker ??
Passenger seat black box has a crap load of wires going into it
