Project ken (vitara)

Post by tnr »

Brought a pretty tidy nz new vitara after playing round with a few heavy old terranos

Mods so far
White spokes and 30inch MUDs
Good 2nd hand score off trademe

50mm Body lift
from the guy on trademe went in without hassil great kit great instructions would recommend

3inch Fts spring kit
Brought of mike from winch.co.nz great guy only been out once as yet flexed well no issues would also recommend

Lock right rear
Brought in from the USA my self so much cheaper than the crazy prices down here arrived a week after ordered putting in Saturday

Good service and new battery
Haha much needed but I'll gutted I didn't consider winch when buying battery

Removed sway bar
Drove like shit on road until I fitted the Fts kit

Recovery x member
Fabbed up by my buddie jase at BYC he's helped me out a lot

Taken on a few outing to wood hill performs surprisingly well went places a lot got stuck including half some club we bumpt into haha. Was planning sas big MUDs and power but happy as is so just wanna fit snorkel and extractors as manifold has usual cracks, drive it and enjoy it. Maybe a winch also undecided yet though.

Greetings Mate!
I just wanted to inquire how you managed to keep your cv geometry in such a very good angle despite having a 3" suspension lift ...
I'm running a 3" suspension lift too via Toyota Prado coils and I even have 2" diff drop brackets from calmini but my cv angles still pale in comparison to that of yours...
