1992 nissan terrano

hi guys any tips on how to fix my speedo its sweet as works normal no bouncing around when i get to 85kms it jams and holds there till start to slow down and kicks in and goes down with speed

its it more likely the cable on box end or could it be the needle touching the dash a fraction looks very close

Yeah, mine does that.
The needle has bent over time due to heat and its catching on the dial now.

You just need to pop the cover off, heat up the needle with a hairdryer and bend it back slightly....So I've been told.
Haven't done it myself though.

Yea, thats about it. They keep bending back tho :x . I used to keep a window cracked on hot days to help stop it, but then replaced the needles out of a different model. No more issues. Gotta be careful swapping them tho, as very easy to make gauges wrong.

Pin your needle upsidedown to a down to a board and put a little super glue on the back of it using a pin. Let it dry and do it again. Worked for me ...and I'm a tight arse :lol:

cheers guys fixed the speedo today took it off used a heat gun and all sorted now cheers ,now i get a bell warning me when i get to 100 havnt heard before :lol: hahah thanks again
