Toyota 1KZ-TE Head. Short or long valves?

Im wanting to buy a new head for my 1993 Prado 1KZ-TE to build up another engine before i remove the old one but, can anyone tell me are they short or long valves?

Best suggestion is to pull yah head off, remove a valve and take them (head and valve) into who ever you are buying the replacement head off to get the correct one....
Saves all the guess work...

Pre 96 are short. Post 96 are long according to what I've read.
103.5mm and 104.4mm respectively

Sounds about right, about time they changed the dipstick sides.

Also they mentioned the TE was the later model, earlier one was designated 1KZ-T.

E is the electric version. Do we have any non electric ones in NZ?

Yea, Don't know if we have mech ones in NZ, would be good though.

You'll have to measure them to be 100% sure which you have.
