Safari headlights... only one working

So before somone pipes up... yes ive checked and no its not a blown bulb

passenger side is the one not working. ive got 24v at driver side and only 3 or 4v at passenger. any suggestions? or better yet solutions!

well being 24v ,i put mine in with a auto electrican, its easier as the patrol manuals overhere are 12v so not much help

earthing issue? how many volts at the relay?

check the relay under the dash above the fuse box. And all the plugs/earths. had that issue before(in that truck) and found it was the relay. Check the fuse to

The terranos have a nasty habit of burning contacts in the switch. I would not be surprised if safari has the same design switch, and therefore the same problem. If bulb is all good, switch would be the 2nd place to look

the nissans have two contacts in the switch , one for each headlight i'd be picking one is dirty or stuffed.

I didn't think they ran a relay for the headlights that why the switch burns out.

The terranos have 5 contacts...
1 for parklights,
1 for each side low beam
and 1 for each side high beam

my last safari did this and I replaced the fuse and it was all good. the fuse itself looked all good but when I put a test light on it one side was bright and the otherside was only a slight glow.

thanks for all the suggestions, seems to have been something to do with the fuse.... i didn't replace any, just pulled them out and checked em and whatdya no... all go. must have beencovered in crap and shorting out? thanks again!

check the windscreen isn't leaking. had those issues after it got a new screen down here. Took it back and they fixed it all for me.
