If you want to play out of the water you could head to Birdlings flat and play there, from there could head across the causeway, if intact, and up Bossu rd to Summit Rd. head around to Takamatua maybe via Peraki Bay to view the old whaling pot (just ring the farm, number on sign at gate ) and up the old stock track off Old Le Bonns Track back upto the summit rd. Finish in Akaroa :)

The ashley is good. I personally dont mind the mak but does mean more maintenance needed on 4wd. Worsley another good one but can be very tricky to the novice
Current 4wd: Surf Kzn185 ssrg factory Intercooled (yet to start build)
Past 4wd: toyota surf ln130, coil sas, 1uz v8 build

You can fang around from Pigeon bay to Port Levy/Diamond Harbour. It's '4wd only', but it's really just a shingle road.

You can get to Port Levy from Little River as well, same deal on the road.

The Waipara is a nice easy run too. You at least have the potential to get stuck heading down or up that

Hi Guys. If you head up the Ashley, North bank down Rsoerters Rd ( not sure of the spelling) and the head up river. The first part is mud (hard bottom) then into river work all the way up to the geroge. A nice wee day out. Nig
