Ok, I need some advice here...
Xj cherokee, I have been searching online and getting different results depending on the site.
I need/want to install recovery points front and rear. American sites have these nice strong looking plates that bolt on through to these homemade jobbies that protrude through the stock bumper. What have other XJ owners done?
Also the rear has a towbar not a hitch receiver or anything, what have others done?
Thanks people for helping out a nooby

Cheers for the info spanky. I have read so many opinions on American forums about using stock locations for mounting hooks it is a bit confusing.
Now for the real newbie question....where do you get grade 8 bolts? Repco or engineering supplier?

Steel and tube or blacks fasteners. Both those places are cheap

Cheers for the info Jono. Looks like S&T in Mount Maunganui is the closest to Rotorua.
Spanky, do you have a photo of the rear hook on your XJ
Does anyone have any mounts they would like to sell for a 1995 XJ? Been looking at USA sites and while price is ok the shipping is rediculous. Mechanic or engineer seems to be the only area we don't have friends or family working in who can help whip some up. Got bloody accountants coming out our ears....
Thanks for the info everyone.
